KIRBY FREDENDALL lives in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She received her BA in Art History from Duke University, travelled to Florence to study Renaissance Art and History, and then to London to study British Art and Architecture. She returned to earn her MEd in Art Education from Arcadia University and is certified in K-12 Art.
Kirby has taught at Solebury School in New Hope for 26 years. She founded Glendale Art Studio to work independently with students in 2014.
Kirby has worked with numerous students on their portfolio to help place them in diverse art and liberal arts schools throughout the country including Tyler, SCAD, Pratt, NYU, School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Bard, and Drexel among many others.
Committed to Continuing Education work in Art Therapy and FIne Art, with coursework varying from Positive Psychology & Art Therapy to work in Collage and Color through MOMA, Kirby has a strong belief that art can be taught as a set of very specific skills as well as a creative outlet for personal positive development.
She works as a professional artist and has shown her work in numerous solo and group shows throughout the country.
